Heron’s Formula proof

27 Jan

Do you know Heron’s Formula?

Triangle

Heron’s formula can be used to help us to find triangle’s area which is just given the lengths of the sides a, b, c and semiperimeter:

s=\frac{a+b+c}{2}.

Heron’s formula states that the area of a triangle whose sides have lengths a, b, and c is

A = \sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)},

I would like to give six proofs the heron’s formula, if you have any interest please feel free to download here:

Heron’s Formula Proof.

Thank you.
